Assessment Process

Assessment supports the right programme fit.

Assessment is not a professional club trial and does not guarantee a place in every programme tier. The academy does not promise professional academy placement, trials, club signings, or affiliation with any professional club.

Step 1

Initial suitability check

Families review the programme, age group, welfare expectations and pricing before choosing an assessment session.

Step 2

Low-pressure assessment

Coaches observe confidence, technical habits, attention, group readiness and how the player responds to age-appropriate practice.

Step 3

Recommended route

The coaching team recommends the most suitable next step. Programme placement is based on coaching assessment, not self-selection.

Before requesting assessment

Send the details coaches need to check suitability.

This website stays informational only. Families should use the academy's existing agreed communication route rather than a website form.

Parent Enquiry Guide

Enquiry checklist

  • • Player age group and school year
  • • Current playing experience and confidence level
  • • Any medical, injury, confidence or welfare information coaches should know before assessment
  • • Whether the family is looking at weekly membership, 1-to-1 coaching or holiday masterclasses

Assessment first

New players should complete a low-pressure assessment before any membership recommendation is made.

Places depend on fit

Availability depends on age group, group balance, welfare, coach capacity and whether the session environment is suitable for the player.

Use agreed channels

This static website does not take bookings. Families should request assessment details through the academy's existing agreed communication route.

Timetable notes

Training rhythm and term planning.

Weekly rhythm

Membership is built around regular weekly coaching rather than one-off attendance.

Assessment window

Assessment timing should be confirmed through agreed academy communication channels before attending.

Holiday options

Holiday masterclasses may run separately from the weekly membership timetable when available.

Term dates

  • • Programme content is planned in 12-week curriculum blocks so players and parents can understand the current development focus.
  • • Term dates, venue timings and weather changes should be confirmed through agreed academy communication channels before travelling.
  • • Membership changes require 14 days' notice, as set out in the cancellation policy.

Curriculum Boundary

Heading is not part of the U7-U11 curriculum. Heading in matches is banned for U7-U11 from the 2026/27 season.
